Everything you need to know.

The Audio-Technica ATH-ADX5000 represents the pinnacle of the company's Air Dynamic open-back design — flagship studio reference headphones handcrafted in Japan for audiophiles, in-studio producers, and monitoring specialists who demand professional-grade sound. Massive 58 mm drivers with tungsten-coated diaphragms deliver clarity across the entire audible range, rendering the fine detail, spatial depth, and natural tonality that only a true open-back circumaural design can achieve.

Despite their flagship engineering, the ATH-ADX5000 are surprisingly light and comfortable over long sessions. Core Mount Technology integrates each driver into a baffle that maximizes airflow and minimizes unwanted resonance, while plush Alcantara earpads and headband keep listening fatigue-free through marathon mixing or listening sessions. Connection comes via a detachable A2DC (Audio Designed Detachable Coaxial) connector cable terminating in a 1/4" gold-plated stereo plug, keeping signals stable and making cable replacement or upgrades simple.

An included carrying case makes gig-to-gig and studio-to-studio travel easy. If you've yet to experience the full potential of Audio-Technica's reference line, the ATH-ADX5000 is the summit — best enjoyed with a quality headphone amplifier.
